E-MAIL


E-mail is short for Electronic Mail. It provides an internet user to send mail or message to another internet user in anywhere in the world in soft real time (as opposed to hard real time). It is the information that is exchanged between two user over telecommunication. It is one the best digital message used all over the world.

 is short for Uniform Resource Locator. It recognizes a internet resource as user requested for information. It helps user to locate web pages. It provides the web client with all the data or information, It needs to contact a sever and make a request for information. 


The term "web address" is a equivalent for a Uniform Resource Locators (URL) that uses the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) was developed by Tim Berners-Lee in 1994 and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) URI working group. Today, the pattern of the URL has not changed. The URL format is specified in RFC 1738 Uniform Resource Locators (URL).





It contains the name of 'protocol' to be used to access the resource and 'resource name'. The first part of URL shows what type of  protocol to be used and the second part shows the domain name or 
IP address where resource is located. The protocol identifier and the resource name are separated by a colon and two forward slashes. a


Uniform Resource Locators (URL) is a type of Uniform Resource Identifier (URI); the wide term for all types of names and addresses that refer to objects on the World Wide Web (www).
